Discussions on ADULT POLITICAL TOPICS in classrooms, such as Climate Change, Gender Identity, Race Relations, War, and Insurrection, etc. causes stress, anxiety, fear, and depression in ADULTS.
These topics are making emotional wrecks of many children, leading to increased behavioral issues at home and in school, sometimes violently. These discussions divert valuable time away from core educational content. No wonder student achievement is floundering.

We need Real Education not Political Education. At the very least, parents should have the option to choose classroom instruction focused solely on traditional education, without the inclusion of adult political topics. Offer both real education and political education for parental choice.

With the limited number of learning hours in a school year, it’s crucial to consider whether a child’s time should be spent solely on education, rather than addressing adult social political issues, which is robbing children of real education to hinder their academic success.
